Refund and Billing Policy

1. Overview

This Refund and Billing Policy explains how billing, payments, cancellations, and refunds apply to access to and use of subscriptions for the LPM platform operated by Lift Portfolio Management Pty Ltd (ABN 55 699 041 391) (LPM, we, us, our).

This Policy forms part of the Terms of Service and should be read together with those Terms. Capitalised terms used in this Policy have the meanings given in the Terms of Service unless otherwise defined.

To the extent of any inconsistency, the Terms of Service prevail.

2. Free trial

We offer a 30-day free trial to eligible new customers.

No payment method is required to start a trial, and you will not be charged during the trial period.

A trial does not automatically convert to a paid Subscription. If you do not commence a paid Subscription before the end of the trial period, your access to the Platform will end when the trial expires.

If you commence a paid Subscription during the trial period, any remaining trial days will be applied to that Subscription and the applicable subscription fee will be charged to your nominated payment method from the end of the trial period. You may cancel at any time before the end of the trial period to avoid being charged.

Separate pilot or evaluation arrangements (where offered in writing) are governed by their own terms and are not subject to this 30-day trial clause.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the applicable renewal date.

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). LPM is not currently registered for GST, and no GST is payable on our fees. If we become registered for GST in the future, we will update our pricing and this Policy accordingly, and GST will be applied from the date of registration.

We may change our pricing from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' prior notice of any pricing change via email to the address associated with your Account.

If you do not agree to the revised pricing, you may cancel your Subscription before the pricing change takes effect. If you continue to access or use the Platform after the pricing change takes effect, the revised pricing will apply to your Subscription.

3.1 Correction of pricing errors

If an incorrect subscription fee has been applied to your Account due to a system error, configuration issue, incorrect plan selection, or discount or price applied in error, we may correct the subscription fee so that future billing reflects the price applicable to your selected Subscription plan at the time of correction.

Any correction will apply from the next billing period. We will notify you of the correction before the updated fee takes effect. We will not retrospectively charge you for past billing periods billed at the incorrect amount.

4. Cancellations

You may cancel your Subscription at any time through the billing portal within the Platform.

Unless otherwise stated, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will continue to have access to the Platform until that time.

We do not provide pro-rata refunds for any unused portion of a billing period, except where required under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Refunds and the Australian Consumer Law

Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods or for change of mind, except where required by applicable law.

Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, being Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If our services fail to comply with a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to an available remedy in accordance with applicable law.
